Hi guys.

Well this is an app made using Visual Basic 6.0. I could have made a full installation package for this app
but this is the simple way. The main window is controlled by msvbvm60.dll.
If you using Win2k/WinXP/Vista/Windows 7 then this should be installed by default.
If you are using Win9x/ME then you will have to download the VB6 Runtime files from

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=7B9BA261-7A9C-43E7-9117-F673077FFB3C&displaylang=en

Even if you are using a WinNT to could download these runtime files and update yours to service pack 6.0.

Now this app uses two more controls ieframe.dll for the web browser results window. This should be on your system
as its installed as part of Internet Explorer. Its to big to add to the zip file.

Now you don't need Access or Office installed to run the app as it uses
Program Files\Common File\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll, make sure you have this file in that folder.

If you running Win2k/WinXP/Vista/Windows 7 then this should be installed by default. If not You can download
it from Microsoft.

The other control is COMCTL32.OCX, this ActiveX control is used for the Toolbar, Statusbar and the ListView
that holds all the data. Now this probably won't be in your system, all you have to do is copy COMCTL32.OCX
to your Windows\System32 folder there is no need to register it. If you already have these files in your
Windows\System32 folder then just check the date, if mine is newer then just let it overwrite.

I've written the new help file with WinCHM Pro so there is no need to download and install:

Oh of course scan these files for a virus or malware as you don't really know me.

If you've use my app before then just extract all files to the original folder (make sure you have admin rights to this folder)
and make a short-cut on your desktop for EOBD II Fault Codes.exe

If you think this app is useful please click the Thanks/Like button on the forum where you downloaded it from.

Cheers.

Keith.
